NELLIE AIKENHEAD
As the principal broker at Aikenhead Real Estate Inc., a local, independently-owned company, Nellie provides concierge level service to each and every client.
Informed, strategic, and detail oriented, she uses her depth and breadth of real estate experience, including high-quality residential "flips", real estate investments, and
property management, every day. Armed with a degree in finance from UVM, carpentry certification from North Bennett Street School, and master’s in environmental management from Yale University, Nellie can quickly spot the pros and pitfalls in any property. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping her residential clients to meet and exceed their goals, all with the least amount of stress!

In the seven years since Aikenhead Real Estate was launched, Nellie has successfully completed more than $125M in real estate transactions, closing more than 200 purchases, sales and rentals in Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Somerville, Newton, Medford, Lexington, Lincoln, Watertown, Waltham, Winchester, Chelsea, Malden, Billerica, and many surrounding towns.
CONSTRUCTION/RENOVATION SKILLS: With both formal carpentry training and hands-on renovation experience, Nellie has an excellent sense of the structure and mechanics of a house as well as the process and costs associated with repairs, renovation, and upgrades. With her husband, Nellie has purchased, restored, and resold several homes, and she owns and manages several rental properties. She is easily able to help educate and inform her clients, and has contacts in all the trades who will provide additional assistance when needed.
